Has anybody had work done with the extended waranty
they will do anything to avoid performing extended warranty work. they want p.o. # which they never issued in writing or on the shipping box. I have all other pertinent info but they will not honor. The repair shop located in brooklyn NY will also insist on the P.O. Will never purchase another item from them. Refurb Depot and CS@***.com are the same co. Toshiba american information systems, incPART # PSLEOU-01000RB, SUPPLIER IDENTIFICATIONM 015347, PRODUCT SERIAL NUMBER 9814****Q, REMANUFACTURED,SATELLITE L355D-S7825-S78, ORDER # 382908, MEMBERSHIP ID 101****. COMUTER STILL UNDER EXTENDED WARANTY. nt SURE WHAT ELSE THEY WOOULD NEED TO VERIFY WHO THE BUYER IS. WHICH NUMBER IS THE P.O. NUMBER. tHIS CO MUST HAVE A BAD REPUTATION FOR DOING BUSINES.

Warranty is no good.
I have bought 2 laptops, 5 cameras and a XBox 360 Elite. All with extended warranties, all dead and under warranty, but no where to send it to. Somebody has had to pick up these insurance clams or it is a clearly fraud. If they just closed their doors, that's one thing, but did they file for court protection? I hope somebody gets back to me and lets me know something. The Xbox was purchased on 15-Apr-09 invoice #395844. Item #5521 CPS 4 year extended warranty $65.95 Item 5459 Microsoft Xbox 360 Elite, $249.95 All 5 of the cameras have something broke. Mack Camera fixed my laptop before, but are they still in business?

I purchased a home theater from Refurbdepot along witha 4 year axtended warranty, The unit had problems from the start.A couple things i decided to live with.Though now i've decided to contact them and use the warranty I purched.I have "E" mailed them with no responce. Now I decided to call the 1-800 number. My verizon carrier sya's "they cannot connect and to check the number".Which I did. IT's the Right Number.I called from a landline and was told "It's a restricked number. Whatever that means???? Teir Web page is still operational. So someones home but won't respond. Maybe they will respond to a class action LAWSUIT!!!!!!

RefurbDepot took my money and sent no product!!!!
I ordered a laptop for my grandfather. RefurbDepot's site showed it shipped but gave no tracking number. 10 days, multiple e-mails, and several phone calls later . . . no resolution. They never answered one e-mail. They never picked up the phone. Stayed on hold for over an hour twice!!! Stayed on hold a third time for 30 mins. I e-mailed their customer service as well as sales. Noone is on the other end. They answer nothing. Finally said screw them and tried to work through my credit card company to get my money back. They took the money and shipped nothing!!!! Be aware they are a scam!!!!

Don't buy from Refurbdepot.com - Fraud!
I ordered a computer from Refurbdeopt.com because of good price. I am still waiting for my computer and when I called they stated that they were out of stock. In the meantime my credit card was billed. So I am now trying to retrieve my money back. Their website states, we will not bill you until we ship order and on the website it states shipped. Please avoid the hassle and stay away from this company. If you don't want to take my advice, just check better business bureau and see for yourself. They have so many complaints and rated F. Go to Tigerdirect.com they are who I usually buy from and they have great service. They are rated A.

Charged my card and never shipped the product
SCAM and Fraudulent!!!! Do not buy from them. I order a home theater system. After 5 days they charged my card. I never got notification anything shipped. I emailed 2x and tried to call but they never answered. Took 4 days for them to get back to me and when they did, it was in the form of an automated phone call saying my order shipped but it did not give any specifics of the order and no tracking number. I waited a week and got an email from them stating they did not have it in stock and that I was welcome to file a dispute with the cc company. DO NOT use these guys.

Computer they sold me is a Lemon !!
In March 2009 I bought a Toshiba P305D-S8834 from Refurbish Depot at $800.00 ..... The computer has been in for repair (5) times already - first time (July 2009), it needed a new motherboard, now there are problems with the cooling fan that Computer Priority Service (an extended warranty company) don't seem to be able to get a handle on. Each time it goes in for repair, it costs me $70.00 for shipping and handling - and it's still not fixed !! That Computer is a Lemon, as far as I am concerned - and there is no way for me to get back at Refurbish Depot for selling me this piece of ...... I will NEVER buy another thing from them - nor will I ever have anything to do with CPS again ..... both are rip-offs ! I am also disappointed in Toshiba .... I thought they made a good product -not anymore !!

Sent me a computer that didnt work
I was happy when UPS deliverd my computer, but after hooking it up and it didnt work I was frustrated so I called refurb depot, and they gave me the numer to joy system were I called, and the tech first question after hearing my complaint was, do you know how to work on computers ? I knew then I had JUST GOTTEN F---ED . After I got it back from joy system it still did'nt work , so here we go again , and now after fixing it twice it still does'nt work . Now they are giving me the run around for my extended warrenty

This is the worst company to deal with. In my opinion they are nothing but liars. FedEx lost my computer, they kept telling me they would reship, had to call them back, never got a new tracking number, they would never call back. I kept getting warehouse is in different location, warehouse hasn't updated tracking number, we will research and email you the tracking number. I finally had to call my credit card company and dispute the charges. Never buy anything from this company, in my opinion they are liars, cheats,scam artis and, thier customer services manager nevers calls you back. What a rip off

Was sent wrong product
This has got to be the worst business I have ever had to deal with.They sent me the wrong product i had to pay to ship it back took them 2 months to get my creditand now they won't give me the cost of shipping back. You never can talk to a manager cause they are never there. This has been the biggest hassle ever dont order anything from them!They try to hide behind what they say is a good company the peiople are rude .this not worth the hassle of ordering pay a little more and deal with someone who really cares about their business.

Refurbished Depot Should not Be In Business
I ordered a refurbished computer from these folks on December 31, and according to them the item was shipped out (by someone else)on the 6th of January 2010. Every day since then i have tried to obtain a tracking number and each time I call I'm told that the tracking number has been requested and will be sent to me immediately. I HAVE YET TO RECEIVE A TRACKING NUMBER AND THE COMPUTER HAS NOT BEEN RECEIVED. I am trying my very best to get them out of business. Its is a shame that they are still doing business.

SCAMMERS! Purchased a computer for my husband while I am away in Afghainstan so I can see him on the webcam. Was excited about the price and saw that it shipped in 1-3 business days. LIES! No tracking number and they already took my money! I am still trying to get a tracking number even though the order status states shipped. I believe they do this because you cannot cancel after the order is shipped so they get you there. Do not buy from them! Poor business dealings! I still do not have a computer. Nothing for my money.

Refurbdepot swaps out order w/o permission
Why can't I get what I paid for? OK...so I should have checked the consumer reports first to find out these guys suck. Ya...they suck! I ordered a specific model of PS3 from Refurbdepot. I was assurred this is what I would get. Uh...no. I got a totally different PS3 model system! I am happy it works (so far...1 hour out of box)but want the model I want. I am afraid to try sending it back for a refund (even if I eat a 15% charge) for fear I will get no refund issued.

I have spent the last week reading thousands of bad reviews on the web about this company. For the life of me, I can't understand why they aren't in jail - or - at least, out of business. What a scam. They take people's money, send out trash and faulty broken products and make a 15% profit when you return their non-working trash to them, at your own expense. They are even going to hit me for 15% restocking of an extended warranty. The laptop they sent me locked-up for hours almost immediately. I had no choice but to unplug it and try again the next day with the same result. I didn't even have it 10 days before I went through their back-flips to return it, and so far, they have not refunded me a dime. I see now why they won't send their products through the US Mail - The RICO ACT. I am just starting this fight. Any success stories or advice as to fighting them wil be greatly appreciated. Does anyone know how to get their hands on the company directories for contact email addresses to some of the "big-wigs" at RefurbDepot or Comtech? Have you had any luck with BBB or Atty. Gen. of N.Y. ? Are there really any class actions out there I can join? To the unaware: Have NO dealings with this company. So far they have stolen about $700 from me and are totally unresponsive. I am also in Texas. Looks like to me that if all of the 2,000 or so complaints against ReFurbDepot on this site could be forwarded to the Atty Gen of the State of New York, maybe they would pick up the investigation.

Refurb Depot Going Down!!
They are going down if I have anything to do with it! They send out broken items, they say are refurbished( and after checking the serial # found out it never was). Of course they won't return it they want their 15% re-stocking fee. Well, they picked the wrong customer this time. Fortunately, I have all the time in the world( and some resources) to follow through with my complaints. Everyone affected NEEDS to contact the New York Better Biz Bureau, NY attorney general And FBI White Collar crimes. You can submit complaints online. Also contact IRS for the company ( Comtech) and Jacob Rosenberg(owner) highly doubt they claim their 15% fee!! We can all get them shut down, who's with me?

I have filed a complaint with the NY city consumer protection agency. My order was cancelled because they were "out of stock".
But they had already charged me $354.90 on 9/24/10
and today is 10/17/10 and I have not been refunded my money, even after repeated calls, emails etc.
They will not respond as to why they are holding my funds. BEWARE!!!

Refurb Depot refused to cancel order
I ordered a GPS from Refurb Depot. < 30 minutes later I cancelled. They refused to cancel and still shipped it. They had plenty of time to cancel shipping but forced it anyway so they could still make money on there handling charges. I e-mailed them < less than 30 mintes after ordering and they did nothing to cancel the order. There reply to my e-mail was also sarcastic and very unprofessional. I believe the guy in charge is very dishonest. I researched the company after the fact and have found an overabundance of unhappy customers.They could have had a good repeat customer instead they lost what could have been a lot more business.
